INFOTECH: Antinomy Solidifies Partnership with Softline Accpac

Recent Gauteng Business News

Antinomy, an ERP and related software solutions provider to its national customer base with offices in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town, has taken on the Sage product range to become a wall-to-wall Softline Accpac business partner.

Jeremy Waterman, Softline Accpac Managing Director says that Antinomy is an excellent fit for Softline Accpac. “Their solid track record and experience in the IT market speaks for itself. Antinomy has identified a niche in the market where they can utilise the Sage product offering to grow their business. We are looking forward to building a long term relationship that is underpinned by in-depth knowledge and experience that Antinomy brings.”

The decision was a natural extension of Antinomy’s current product offering, says Keith Castle, Antinomy Managing Director. “We have been a Sage partner since our inception in 2002 and remained as such during its various developments through the years. Antinomy effectively became a Softline partner with the acquisition of Softline by Sage in 2003. The Softline product offering became a logical next step that will benefit our business operations across the board, especially in the Kwazulu-Natal (KZN) region.”

Lee Mounter, Antinomy’s Sales and Marketing Director, says the partnership with Softline Accpac provides a far broader market segment. “Our traditional target market comprises of clients in the mid to upper market segments with reasonably complex needs. We now have the capability to address smaller businesses that have complex ERP requirements by means of multiple channels that offer smaller, simpler product solutions. It is ideally suited to the KZN region where small businesses are flourishing and ERP services are largely under-represented, providing a unique opportunity for Antinomy to expand its existing foothold in the region.”

In addition, Mounter says the Softline Accpac partnership enables Antinomy to accommodate customers who are looking to rent software instead of buying. It is ideally suited for small enterprises that do not have large capital expenditure available upfront. The product solution is made available at a monthly fee as opposed to a large upfront investment which paves the way for business acquisition. Antinomy will offer the full range of Softline Accpac products that include Sage ERP X3, Sage Accpac, Sage CRM, Saleslogix, Sage Line 500 and Sage 1000.

Aruna Ware, the Softline Accpac Regional Manager for Kwa-Zulu Natal says Antinomy has a longstanding relationship with Softline. “They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Accpac market. Current and future Accpac customers are likely to benefit from Antinomy’s dedication and expertise. With their team of skilled consultants, we are confident the local market will reap the rewards of our proven products and services through an able channel partner.”

Antinomy strongly believes in teamwork and synergy, striving towards the common goal of service and success, says Mounter. “Softline Accpac is a trusted brand with an excellent reputation and is very committed to its business partners, which greatly influenced our decision to take the product to our clients. Accpac’s software will help us to deliver on our business vision by providing functionality that will link business results with IT investment. This is really what Antinomy is all about and we are confident that our pooled resources will lead to the expansion of both businesses,” Mounter concludes.
