FINANCE: TFMC’s Utilities Management Services Attract Attention at SAPOA 2015
Recent Gauteng Business News
Bidvest company, TFMC, well known for its end-to-end total facilities management services, launched a range of focused solutions at the recent annual SAPOA International Convention and Property Exhibition.
Of particular interest to delegates was Utilities Management, an outsourced financial administrative service that the company has offered to telecoms companies for many years.
According to Derek Jack, Chief Strategic Outsourcing at TFMC, the company has extended this specialised service to a broader market. “Delegates were interested in the fact that we offer an end-to-end financial administrative service for the financial management of utilities, including query and dispute resolution, which can be a difficult and expensive exercise.
“By managing customers’ large volumes of billing, from analysis, reporting to review and negotiation of tariff structures with authorities, we take away the time-consuming hassle of this type of work, and ultimately provide peace of mind while saving money,” said Jack.
In partnership with a sister Bidvest company, TFMC offers remote automated read meters and a team of skilled staff for manual meter reading in hard to reach areas. In addition, the company has a well-established relationship with all the municipalities countrywide, and a 24/7 call centre with dedicated numbers for large volume customers.
At SAPOA, TFMC also showcased their large range of mobile generators, which the company supplies on a 24/7, and emergency basis, with full back support on servicing, maintenance and refueling throughout South Africa, as well as into remote regions.
TFMC launched a new offering at the SAPOA exhibition, called Mobile Maintenance, which according to Jack is the first time a service of this nature has been offered on a national basis with support from their 24/7 call centre. “This service provides basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and general building maintenance on both a scheduled contract and a planned project basis by multi-skilled staff. Once again, it’s about taking the hassle away from property and facilities manager, and providing peace of mind,” said Jack.
