Dezzo Equipment operates from out of the Manitou premises, and as a result has full access to Manitou’s technical expertise and backup. “This has proved to be a highly beneficial relationship for both companies. In the case of this contract it has allowed us to provide unparalleled levels of service to the mine,” continues Venter.

The contract includes the supply of a 24 hour service centre staffed by ten technicians. As a result of Dezzo Equipment’s strong relationship with Manitou the company is able to provide same day supply of consignments of spare parts.

The rapid supply and delivery of parts for maintenance and repair ensures that mine will experience the absolute minimum of downtime, which in turn will result in increased productivity and revenue.”

Dezzo’s comprehensive supply and service contracts have been met by considerable market enthusiasm. The company is currently in the negotiation stages of two large supply and service contracts for a mine and a power station.
