Request for proposal: Bulk printing services
The South African Revenue Service (SARS) invites suitably qualified service providers to submit tenders for the delivery of Bulk Printing Services. The RFP is divided into three areas of scope (Towers) and service providers may submit bids on any combination of the Towers of scope.
Tower 1: Pre-printed Forms: Printing of pre-printed forms and the distribution of such forms to SARS offices.
Tower 2A: System Generated Forms: Printing, folding and insertions of forms into mail packs and delivering to
the South African Post Office. The processing includes the merging of data into the forms prior to printing.
Tower 2B: System Generated FormsIn house: Building of a SARS printing facility and internal capability to deliver the printing and processing of the scope of Tower 2A above.
* Note that either Tower 2A or Tower 2B may be awarded and not both.

570 Fehrsen Street, Brooklyn, Pretoria, on 2 August 2010 from 10h00 until 4 August 2010 at 16h00.
The RFP documents will also be available for download at www.sars.gov.za from 2 August 2010. Forms for the registration for the compulsory bidders conference are available in the RFP document pack and prospective bidders must register for the conference before 5 August 2010 at 16h00.
Responses for this RFP must be placed in the tender box between 09:0014:00 at the main entrance of the SARS
Procurement Centre at the above address on the closing date.
