Compulsory Briefing Session will be held on Monday 22 February 2010 at 10:00 at the Flip Uys Boardroom, Civic Centre.

Adjudication: 90/10
Tenders will be evaluated using the 90/10 preference point system which awards points on the basis of 20 points Functionality and 70 points for Price and 10 points for contract participation goals. Preferences points are offered to tenderers for HDI (6 points), Promotion of Mogale Based Enterprises (4 points).

Non-refundable Document fee: R150-00 payable in cash or by bank guaranteed cheque, payable between 8:00 and 15:00 at the cashiers in the Rates Hall of the Civic Centre, Mogale City.

Documents available: As from Tuesday 16 February 2010, during office hours, from the Reception Desk of Supply Chain Management Unit, situated on the upper level of the West Wing of the Mogale City Civic Centre, Corner Commissioner and Market Streets in Krugersdorp (011 951-2511)

Venue: Tender boxes are situated at the reception desk of the Sub-Directorate Supply Chain Management Unit, situated on the upper level of the West Wing of the Mogale City Civic Centre, Corner Commissioner and Market Streets in Krugersdorp.

Tender conditions:
o Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the tender document;
o A valid original Tax Clearance Certificate (or in the case of a Joint Venture, of all the partners in the Joint Venture) must be submitted with the tender document;
o Telefax or e-mail tenders are not acceptable;
o Late tenders will not be accepted;
o The use of tipp-ex is not allowed on the bid documents;
o The successful bidder/s will be encouraged to subcontract to Local based Enterprise as a way of skills transfer.
o Tenders may only be submitted on the bid documents as provided by Mogale City;
o The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted, and Mogale City reserves the right to accept a tender in whole or in part.
o No page(s) may be removed from the tender document
o A Corporate social responsibility contribution of one (1%) will be levied on all companies/service providers appointed as successful bidders provided that such companies are not based in the area of jurisdiction of Mogale City.
