TENDERS ARE HEREBY INVITED FROM REGISTERED BANKERS TO RENDER BANKING SERVICES TO MOGALE CITY LOCAL MUNICIPALITY FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE (5) YEARS.
COMPULSORY BRIEFING SESSION: Will be held on Friday
13 August 2010 at 11:30 in the Flip Uys Boardroom,
Civic Centre, Krugersdorp.
Adjudication: 90/10
Tenders will be evaluated using the 90/10 preference point system which awards points on the basis of 50 points for Price, 40 Points for Functionality and 10 points for contract participation goals. Preferences points are offered to tenderers for HDI ownership (6 points) and Promotion of Mogale based enterprises (4 points).
Non-refundable Document fee: R300-00 payable in cash or by bank guaranteed cheque, payable between 8:00 and 15:00 at the cashiers in the Rates Hall of the Civic Centre, Mogale City.

Venue: Tender boxes are situated at the reception desk of Supply Chain Services, situated on the upper level of the West Wing of the Mogale City Civic Centre, corner of Market and Commissioner Streets in Krugersdorp.
Tender conditions:
Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the tender document;
A valid original Tax Clearance Certificate (or in the case of a Joint Venture, of all the partners in the Joint Venture) must be submitted with the tender document;
Tenders by joint ventures are to be accompanied by the Document Formation of the joint venture, duly registered
and authenticated by a Notary Public or other official deputised to witness sworn statements. This document must
define precisely the conditions under which the joint venture will function, the period for which it will function, the persons authorized to represent and obligate it, the address for correspondence, the participation of several firms forming the joint venture and any information necessary to permit a full appraisal of its functioning, including a clause to the effect that the members of the joint venture are jointly and severely bound.
No late tender will be accepted. Telefax or e-mail tenders are not acceptable.
Tenders may only be submitted on the bid documents as provided by Mogale City. The use of tipp-ex is not allowed on the bid documents. Bids completed in pencil will be regarded as invalid bids. No page(s) may be removed from the original tender document
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted, and Mogale City reserves the right to accept a tender in whole or in part.
A Corporate social responsibility contribution of one (1%) will be levied on all companies/ service providers
appointed who are not based in the area of jurisdiction of Mogale City.
