REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Transnet Freight Rail, a Division of Transnet Ltd. invites all interested parties to respond to a request for proposal (RFP) as indicated below.

Refurbishment, cleaning and repair of signal geographical interlocking units for a period of 2 years.

RFP documents may be obtained on and after Monday, 08 March 2010 at the Reception, Tender Advice Centre, Inyanda House 1, Ground Floor, 21 Wellington Road, Parktown, Johannesburg during the office hours O5hOO to 15hOO, and a non-refundable tender fee as indicated below is applicable per tender. Payment is to be made to Transnet Freight Rail, Standard Bank Account number 203158598, Branch code 004805. The deposit slip must reflect RFP number SIS 9027 and the Company Name. Receipt/s to be presented prior to collection of the tenders.

A clarification meeting will be held on Tuesday, 23 March 2010 at 10hOO, Bombela Boardroom, ground floor, Inyanda House 2, 15 Girton Road, Parktown, Johannesburg. Documents will only be available and must be collected before 15hOO on Friday, 19 March 2010. (NB: No tenders will be issued after this deadline).

A non-refundable deposit fee of R250.00 is payable.
