INVITES TENDERS FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED BUILDING CONTRACTORS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A CHILL ROOM FOR ITS CONTACT CENTRE STAFF MEMBERS, FLORIDA CAMPUS

UNISA invites building contractors to tender for the construction of a chill room adjacent to an existing building at its Florida Campus.

COMPULSORY REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION AND ADMITTANCE TO THE PUBLIC TENDER INFORMATION SESSION
A non-refundable tender registration fee of R300.00 (cash or bank guaranteed cheque only) is
payable at registration
Submission of Unisa Supplier List Application form (F25) complete with all supporting documentation
Prospective tenderers must read the tender specification and bring a copy to the registration, Tenderers are required to be CIDB registered with a Contractor Grading of 3GB and/or 3GBPE or higher

Registration Date: 12 March 2010
Time: 10hOO to 10h30 (Latecomers will not be admitted)
Venue: Genmin Auditorium, Unisa Florida campus, cnr. Christiaan de Wet & Pioneer Avenue Florida

Please note that the above-mentioned time frames must be strictly adhered to, latecomers will not be , admitted. The compulsory information session will commence immediately after registration. The original and a copy of the sealed tenders must be submitted into the official tender box located in the O R Tambo Administration Building, 5th Floor, Room 5 -15, Muckleneuk Campus, Pretoria. Please quote the tender reference number PT2010/04 on the sealed envelope.

The Tender awarded will be conditional and subject to successful negotiations and signing of a written contract, failing which UNISA reserves the right to withdraw the tender and award same to the next successful tenderer without the need to repeat the tender process. Closing date and time: 6 April 2010 at 12hOO Late, incomplete or incorrectly submitted tenders will not be considered.

Points will be awarded for Black Economic Empowerment. The decision of the UNISA Management Committee on awarding a tender is final. UNISA reserves the right to appoint, contract with and monitor performance of any service provider it solely deems will offer the best service but not necessarily being the lowest tender, as well as the right not to award a Tender.
