REQUEST FOR BID (RFB)
REFERENCE NO: GSM 010/2010 - REQUEST FOR BID TO ASSIST WITH THE RESTRUCTURING OF SAA TECHNICAL ON AN OPERATIONAL AND SHAREHOLDER LEVEL

Critical criteria:
Must have consulted in companies with a turnover of R1 b or more;
Must be in the aviation business/ or have aviation advisory experience for at least 10 years;
Must not be part of any group which include a MRO;
Must have been involved in at least two similar MRO type engagements of which one of the engagements had both full airframe and workshop support as part of the MRO service offerings and
Full details of all fees and expenses proposed by the advisor must be in South African Rand (ZAR)

Documents will be available on the website www.flysaa.com or for collection between OBhOO and 12hOO GMT +2 from the 1st of February 2010, at the Permit Office situated at SAA - Airways Park, Jones Road. OR Tambo Int Airport.

There will be a COMPULSORY BIDDERS/TENDER BRIEFING SESSION ON 11 February 2010 at 15hOO GMT +2 at SAA's Head Office, Airways Park, Jones Road, OR Tambo Int Airport

A Non-refundable fee of R5000.00 is required per Bid document. Only cash or bank guaranteed cheques will be accepted and NO post-dated cheques will be accepted. Bid documents downloaded from the SAA website should have proof of payment attached to them (on the 1 st page of the bid document) upon their submission.
The submission for above bids closes on the 02 March 2010 at 11hOO GMT +2. at the Permit Office situated at SAA - Airways Park, Jones Road. Kempton Park
No late submissions will be considered.
