The annual Henley High School Regatta and Cricket challenge will take place on Sunday 21st March 2010 at Fraser Park in Hearn Rd. Henley on KliprnrnThis exciting event is one of the highlights in Henley’s calendar and attracts participants from out side the village. At a previous event, a group of brave sailors floated a bakkie and finished the race with it, took it out of the water and drove off. There are no limits to the creativeness of what can be built, as long as it floats!rnrnAfter the regatta, a cricket challenge goes out from the Henley High Pupils and Parents to the rest of the Village members in a limited over’s game. Food will be on sale around the cricket pitch. Art & Craft stalls are available.rnrnProgramrn7:00 - 7:45 - Registration - Fraser Park.rnBacon & Egg Rolls and Coffee available for sale from 7:00.rnrn8:00 - Start lining up for Procession through the village of Henley on Klip, ending at the launch site in Dinsdale Road 8:30 - Procession leaves Fraser Park.rnrn9:00 - Launching starts in Dinsdale Road 10:00 - 12:00 - Rafts finish at the Scout Hall. Vehicles will have access to the end point behind the Scout Hall via Oxford Road.rnrn11:00 - 12:00 Cricket Match Henley Juniors - Fraser Park 12:00 - Main Cricket Match starts at Fraser Park. Food will be available on sale. Art & Craft Stalls and entertainment for the children will be available.rn
