Many businesses – particularly mail order businesses and those offering online or mobile content - require a user friendly and cost effective way of automatically billing their clients every month. For this reason PayGate has developed PaySubs – a recurring credit card payment processing service. This service can be used along with our PayWeb online credit card processing service, which will allow subscriptions to be set up online by the user. PaySubs subscriptions can also be set up manually via an interface in the PayGate Back Office admin website. Subscriptions can also be edited or deleted via this interface.

When used along with PayWeb, a user on a website can confirm their subscription on the merchant’s website and will then be redirected to the PayWeb secure payments page where they will enter their credit card details. When this is done it is also possible to process the first payment from the card, which will be processed via the PayGate online payment gateway to the internet merchant account of the merchant. The data for the subscription is also sent through at this time, including the subscription amount, the duration of the subscription and the day of the month on which the credit card should be charged. On the selected day the following month, a charge will be created for the specified amount on the client’s card and the transaction will be processed via the PayGate online payment gateway. Once the subscription has expired, the card will no longer be billed.

PaySubs offers a recurring credit card payment processing suitable for businesses requiring automated monthly billing for their clients. This service is compatible with the PayWeb online credit card processing service and subscriptions can also be set up, edited or deleted manually via an interface in the PayGate Back Office admin website. All subscription payments are processed via the PayGate secure online payment gateway to the merchant’s internet merchant facility at their bank in a way that offers security for both the cardholder and the merchant.
