Speed branding is the terminology used for
branding of event usually sports events that take place over a
distance. The best way to get maximum exposure is to use shade
cloth which can be printed and branded with step and repeat logos
and company mission statements in large format. For large scale
events, custom shade cloth can be manufactured to a specific
colour, width and density to match the corporate sponsor main
colour for brand recognition.
The best way is to print large format logos every 5m or so. the shade cloth branding is supplied in 50m rolls which can be a mix of printed and plain so that the event can be "wrapped" with the sponsor colour for best brand recognition throughout.
Nedbank for example does a good job of this by deploying their corporate green at the Million Dollar Golf Challenge and then simply printing high exposure areas with white logos step and repeat. It is simple, cost-effective and it looks good. Woolworths have taken a similar approach. Their W printed in white on black shade cloth is very classy and effective.
The Speed Branding effect is no limited to events and printed shade cloth rolls can be used to wrap sites under construction to make them look good when it is a mess with building rubble etc on the inside. Trading can continue, the speed branding can be sued to keep the public out from a public safety aspect, to keep the place looking good while under construction and last and most importantly capitalise on the excellent brand exposure potential . . normally in great, high traffic positions.
So if you have a motoring, athletic, road running, motocross, cycling or other event that lends itself to speed branding then that's and easy and very effective way for you to go. Order speed branding to cover thousands of metres economically, effectively and to be seen by TV and spectators from far.
