PROPERTY: PGP Pretoria Region Spreads Its Wings

Recent Gauteng Business News

Pam Golding Properties (PGP) Pretoria Region is doubling in size. The new, substantially larger PGP Pretoria region will include Pretoria East, Moot, North and Montana, Bronkhorstspruit, Cullinan, Rayton and Centurion.

Commenting on PGP’s expansion in the Pretoria area, Regional Executive for PGP Pretoria, Retha Schutte, added that plans are also afoot to increase the number of real estate agents in the field by approximately 43 percent.

“PGP’s Pretoria Region already has a large agency force of 70, which we are planning to increase by a further 30 agents in the near future. With a field force of 100 we will be able to cover the length and breadth of the region in a cohesive and highly effective manner.”

“We are actively recruiting the crème-de-la-crème of Pretoria based agents. It is our explicit goal to attract like-minded, successful individuals who understand the property business, have an intimate knowledge of the region and can hold their own in terms of offering quality service to a discerning group of local and international buyers,” asserts Schutte.

The Value of PGP in the Pretoria Region

Schutte highlights the added value that this holds for clients and agents within the Pretoria region: “Given our substantially enlarged footprint and field force, our popular bi-monthly property expos will be bigger and better than ever. These will add considerable value for buyers who will now be able to view the entire Pretoria region at a glance. Greater convenience, a strong basis of comparison and valuable insight when it comes to making an informed property decision will be the order of the day.”

PGP’s Pretoria Region serves a multi-facetted socio-economic grouping with its property portfolio ranging from start-up properties selling for R250 000, to exquisite homes that are being marketed for R25 million or more.

The PGP Pretoria Region prides itself on a highly efficient cross-referral system that spans the greater region. This affords PGP a strong, cohesive presence that ensures comprehensive coverage throughout the area.

The Growth of PGP in Pretoria

In the last few years PGP Pretoria has quietly cultivated a strong, ever-growing clientele in the greater Pretoria region. PGP Pretoria has evolved to the point where it has a large and diverse property portfolio. Because of its high sales volumes, the highly successful PGP Pretoria office features in the top three PGP offices countrywide.

The Pretoria East branch was recently voted ‘Best residential real estate agency’ in the Pretoria News 10th Annual Readers Choice Awards. It also won the PMR Golden Arrow 2011 award for Leaders and Achievers. This award is conferred on the company that has done the most in its sector over a 12-month period to stimulate the economic growth and development of the City of Tshwane/Pretoria.
