TechWeb’s Intelligent Enterprise calls SAS ‘dominant player’ in business analytics
SAS, the leader in business analytics, is one of 2009’s 12 most influential business technology suppliers, receiving such recognition for the eighth consecutive year.
InformationWeek Business Technology Network’s Intelligent Enterprise honoured SAS and others for exceptional vision, technology innovation and customer leadership in attaining strategic objectives.
Intelligent Enterprise editors collaborated with 12 independent judges to create the prestigious list. Editor-in-Chief Doug Henschen chose the award winners.
"We present our 10th Annual Intelligent Enterprise Editors' Choice Awards to guide our readers toward innovative and influential vendors, whether large or small, that have been leading the way toward easier and more comprehensive use of information, deeper and timelier insight, and more flexible and efficient applications and business processes,” he said.
The article announcing the 2009 selections spotlights SAS’ vast portfolio of business analytics, data integration and reporting applications, as well as industry-specific and cross industry solutions.
SAS is “the dominant player in analytics” and “will continue to stand apart from BI-only competitors,” according to Intelligent Enterprise. ”It's a rare one-stop-shop that even some of the new mega BI vendors can't match.”
