ABI recently launched an internal corporate communications programme, Â“ONE ABI - The road to customer service obsessionÂ”, and VWV was in on the ride. The award winning brand experience agency was given a brief that included conceptualising and developing a communications toolkit that would effectively drive the ONE ABI message to staff; an urgent requirement in an environment where no clear definition of the company was prominent.
The Focus of the ABI Corporate Communications
Focusing on the one vision, one focus, one passion and one team message, VWV presented a refreshed corporate video, a vibrant, quirky cartoon, and a song competition, amongst other tools that ABI can use to instill the ONE ABI message. The tools are being used in a six month roll-out of the ONE ABI company-wide drive to stir a sense of pride, belonging and identity.
The Goals of the ABI Corporate Communications Programme
Itumeleng Matlaila, the Internal Communications Manager of ABI said, Â“This communication tool kit is set to inspire staff to live up to making ABI a business obsessed with world class customer service.Â” In conjunction with the toolkit a leadership conference was staged where the ONE ABI strategy was communicated to the leadership team. Â“VWVÂ’s past execution of a corporate video that had bowled us over was the motivation behind pursuing this toolkit. We are thrilled with the results!Â”
