The VWV Group was commissioned by SAB Limited to conceptualise and produce its three day 2011 marketing, sales and distribution conference recently held at Sun City. The theme 'Serving to Win' aimed to align and motivate the 1 422 staff in attendance, while simultaneously launching the much anticipated Carling Cup that was unveiled at the resort’s Shebeen.
CEO of the VWV Group, Abey Mokgwatsane said, “Managing the duality of the venue was tough, and successfully converting the Superbowl from a seated business session into a banquet-style gala dinner in under two hours was no small task.” The white wintery evening’s entertainment included snow machines, snow dancers, and an indoor pyrotechnics show.
“Another ‘hop in our brew’, so to speak, was the fact that our client, Val Carter, Project Manager for SAB LTD, rated this the most effective conference to date, measuring it on two fronts: successfully communicating the business strategy, and the enthusiasm of the delegate’s experience,” added Mokgwatsane.
Among the SAB conference firsts were electronic onsite registrations, as well as an impressive custom-built giant screen that measured 23m wide x 7m high and was used in the business session along with graph animation presentations.
