Travel: SA Express Not Affected By Strike Against SAA
Recent Gauteng Business News
SA Express wish to advise its customers that although it shares some operations with South African Airways, particularly the call centre, ground handling and check-in-facilities in Gauteng, Cape Town and Durban, its 100 daily flights will not be affected by the strike against the national carrier.
“Even though SAA provides certain services to SA Express, our operations will not be affected. We have implemented contingency plans to ensure that our operations run smoothly,” says SAX General Manager for Operations, Dave Allanby.
The regional carrier flies to Lubumbashi, Walvis Bay, Windhoek, Gaborone, and Maputo, including local destinations such as Bloemfontein, Richards Bay, East London, Kimberley, George, Port Elizabeth and Hoedspruit, which will all not be affected.
For any flights or reservation related enquiries, passengers can call SA Express on its back-up number, 011 978 5569 or visit its website, www.flysax.com
