EXPO: Marketing Indaba Receives Positive Response

As one of the mainline sponsors of the event, Google SA presented sessions at both the conference and at the workshops. Head of Google Mobile, Brett St Clair, made it clear that the time for mobile is now and that mobile is the new mass-medium for Africa.
During breaks the delegates networked on the exhibition floor that hosted service providers in advertising, printing, signage, promotions, communication technology, customer relation management and eventing.
Exhibitor, Magic Mountain Events, who created a stir with their body painted promoters, had the following to say: ‘Whether the experts approved or not for us the Indaba was a huge success.’ The conference and expo offered various networking opportunities where visitors, exhibitors and delegates met like-minded marketing executives from various industries.
“We are delighted with the turn-out and interest shown and has laid a strong foundation for the annual Marketing Indaba. We already received enquiries to stage Marketing Indaba in our neighbouring countries and in East Africa and is currently exploring these possibilities” said organiser Chris de Klerk of CADEK Media.
