"HP is constantly refreshing its product ranges to give customers the very latest technology without having to redesign its machines, which would increase the price. Previously the company has updated the RAM on these machines as well as the processor, and now customers can take full advantage of the newest Intel processors, delivering excellent value for money to the entry-level and mid-market segments," says Deon Botha, HP PSG Business Unit Manager at DCC.
By updating the processors HP has enabled these notebooks to deliver greater performance and power efficiency, as a result of enhanced and improved processor capability into lower price point products. This enables users to work more productively and efficiently on notebooks that suit their pockets without having to blow the budget on an expensive high-end device.
"HP's regular product refreshes on popular models offers customers access to inexpensive notebooks that contain cutting edge hardware with all of the latest and greatest technologies. The same attention to detail on styling and usability that customers have come to expect from HP is maintained across the ranges, in devices that are now more powerful than ever," Botha concludes.
