The Focus on Excellence Award programme is based on extensive research conducted by independent research analysts Scott Byers. Thousands of senior players in the transport operator industry were selected at random for telephonic interviews during the second quarter of 2010. They were questioned about which products or supplier companies they considered best and why. The final nominations are the result of Scott Byers Comparative Customer Satisfaction independent performance measurement.
A large array of supplier categories was represented, including those vehicle and parts manufacturers who excelled in the fields of sales, service and parts support. “
“Only companies at the very top of their game can become finalists,” said Charleen Clarke, editor of FOCUS on Transport and Logistics magazine, which convenes the awards. “These companies are doing an outstanding job of delivering world-class customer service.”
“This award is a reflection that our customers do indeed benefit from our efforts, which is a reward in itself. We are proud of this achievement as the country’s leading distribution channel of multi-brand new- and retread tyres, related products and services to the truck fleet, passenger, mining and construction, agricultural and industrial industries. We are committed to continue being of service with our national footprint of branches, retreading factories, on-site services, our tyre management system and 24/7 call centre and breakdown unit,” says George Vlok, Trentyre’s Operations Director.
