The impact of the AAA - Level 2 rating is significant for our clients as they can claim 156.25% of their spend with Ernst and Young for B-BBEE rating purposes.
“Our vision, as a firm, is to actively participate in growing this country, helping to broaden economic participation to all South Africans, at all levels of economic activity. We view our ongoing successes not as final goals, but as milestones in a continuing journey towards the full participation of black people across all levels of our firm, our profession and, ultimately, our economy,” commented Sita.
Dating back almost 30 years, – Ernst and Young recorded its first milestone in diversity and inclusiveness by being the first to appoint a female director and a black African director in a Big 5 firm in South Africa. The firm has achieved and exceeded its targets of 25% black ownership, and for the past five years has been top ten ranked in the CRF “Best Company to Work For” awards.
Today, in South Africa, the firm is managed by a dynamic leadership team of which one third are women. In addition, the leadership team has over 40% black representation. The firm offers a number of opportunities to its people, with the aim of strengthening its transformation by creating a diverse and inclusive firm.
