Nexia, a large East Rand audit practice, comprising 78 staff and four partners, has been admitted to the association. Representing Moore Stephens on the East Rand, the firm will practice under the name Moore Stephens FRRS Incorporated.
Pretoria based accounting firm, Bennie and Wilson has also joined Moore Stephens. The firm, which is situated in Lynnwood, Pretoria, has been in existence for 26 years and has built up an impressive reputation for service excellence and personal attention. With a total staff compliment of 40 people, including three partners and three associates, the firm will now practice under the name Moore Stephens B and W Partnership.
Julian van der Westhuizen, Chairman, Moore Stephens South Africa, says that the admission of the new member firms holds significant benefits to all their clients.
“The addition of a Moore Stephens member firm on the East Rand and in Pretoria means increased capacity and specialised skills are available to clients. The new member firms are well placed to service a major industrial hub and the administrative capital of South Africa.”
Moore Stephens is part of an International association of 351 member firms with 630 offices in 98 countries, employing a total of 20 864 people.

Moore Stephens FRRS Inc. officially joined the Moore Stephens association on 01 June 2010, and will continue to operate from their offices at No 6 Lakeside Place, Kleinfontein Lake, Benoni, while the Moore Stephens B and W Partnership, who also officially joined on 01 June 2010, will continue to operate from their offices at 321 Alpine Way in Lynnwood, Pretoria.
