For the second consecutive year, Lew Geffen Sothebys International Realty has been honoured as the Best Real Estate Agency in SA at the CNBC African Property Awards. In addition this year it scooped the top award in the Best Real Estate Agency Marketing category.
These awards are part of the globally respected International Property Awards, which have been running for 14 years and are regarded as the Oscars of the property industry. Judged by an independent team of experts in the property, design and construction fields, together with property writers and sponsors, the awards are presented in 21 different categories, with four and five-star awards being given to the best entries.
Lew Geffen Sotheby?s International Realty was given a Gold Five-Star rating for the Best Real Estate Agency in SA award, and this year also won the Best Real Estate Agency Marketing category with a Gold Five-Star rating while other South African entrants achieved four-star awards.
In addition, the company has been nominated to go forwards to the Worlds Best awards, where it will compete with the winners from other CNBC award regions such as the UK, Europe, Arabia, the Asia-Pacific and the Americas. This is the first time an SA real estate company has been selected to compete at this level of the CNBC awards.
Group chairman Lew Geffen says it is most gratifying to once again emerge as the top agency in South Africa and says this achievement is testimony to the hard work and determination of its property consultants, especially in the face of the current slow market.
