Recent Gauteng Business News

As from 1st October 2008 admirers of romantic Europe can fly daily from Gauteng to Munich as South African Airways (SAA) has increased its flights to Munich to daily overnight flights in time for the European winter season.

Customers can depart in the evening from Johannesburg to Bavaria’s capital in the modern Airbus A340-300 and land the next morning in Germany to experience the lush mountain meadows, majestic Alpine peaks, splendid low mountain ranges with deep green forests and sunny slopes covered in vines. The home flight from Munich to Johannesburg is also onboard the comfortable night service.

SAA has increased its flights to Munich from four flights per week to daily flights due to the huge demand on this route. This is a further addition along with the airline’s increased service on the route between Johannesburg and Frankfurt, where flights have been increased from seven to ten per week (also from October).

Premium class has the award winning flat bed seat and an a la carte dining experience, while there is a comfortable seat pitch of 85 cm in Economy Class and 44 movies to choose from (including 5 South African releases) as onboard entertainment.
